I will admit something to you all, I had to double check the spelling of Tennessee way more times than I would like to admit. I’ve been planning and prepping and panicking (yes I panic sometimes), about what I could possibly do to prepare for this trip any better
and
honestly,
It’s not worth the worry, I’ll figure it out when I get there, I’m going to pack the essentials for both the dog and myself and if we really need something when we get there, we’ll figure it out there and get it. No use stressing myself out over not having what I don’t know I’m going to need. If that makes sense.
I’m trying to make lists of everything:
Bandit
-Dog food
-Sweater or jacket (child’s size to keep him warm)
-Food and water bowls
-couple of gallons of water (because I’ll be damned if anyone is drinking water from some sketchy motel)
-Toys
-Blankets
-His bed (Oh my god I almost forgot his bed)
Myself
-Jackets
-Long Sleeves
-Short Sleeves
-Underwear
-Boots
-Make-up
-Panic
-Nerves
-Any medicine I might need (maybe some tranquilizers)
-MASKS (oh my goodness we’re in the middle of a global pandemic and I almost forgot my masks)

Planning on loading up the car with everything Wednesday afternoon, and heading North! How exciting, here’s to hoping they actually have snow-fall at some point during our stay.
Aside from the usual things we’re gathering I’ve been tasked to make sandwiches for the road, now, I don’t know if you knew this little tid-bit about me (probably don’t) but I can 100% confirm that the way I make sandwiches is somehow not the way they expect me to be making sandwiches and for this reason I will let you all know as a side-bar in my next post how badly I mess this up.
Other than my incessant panicking, I think it’ll be alright, probably.
The only reason I’m panicking like this is because it’s the first time I’m traveling out of state with my pup (he’s 2 years old), and I just want to make sure he actually has a good time and isn’t miserable.
Fingers crossed.
